solidarity sessions
All are welcome to join at our monthly Solidarity Sessions! These are held both in person and virtually. This is one way that we work to build community and practice ongoing reflection about our own racial identities and engaging in dialogue about the systemic racism in our schools and communities.
The purpose of these gatherings is to create a safe space to build our collective capacity as anti-racist educators through deepening the work within to strengthen our external work.
When we participate in a racial self-reflection, we root our practices and understanding in the research of Dr. Glenn Singleton and Courageous Conversations about Race.
